Classes For Fall 2025 - Spring 2026

In this 2 semester class students in grades 3-5 will read and discuss 4 American History stories that feature kids their age each semester. The fall semester will include the early 1600 through 1850. The spring will focus on 1860 – 1945. We will discuss what life was like in America during each time period we explore. Each class includes a discussion of the reading, fun hands-on activities, vocabulary and games.
Lessons will focus on an introduction to the study of literature, figurative language, and analysis of non-fiction passages. Students are expected to keep up with weekly reading assignments and come to class ready to discuss.
